- How safe is teeth whitening? Does it do any harm to my teeth?
Research over the last five years has proven bleaching to be both safe and effective to whiten stained teeth and even to drug- induced discolored teeth. The American Dental Association's seal of approval has been given to a wide range of tooth whitening products.
Generally, the only side effect from treatment may be teeth sensitivity, and this doesn't occur to everyone. If this occurs, it normally disappears within 48 hours.
- What is porcelain veneers and how can it fix my gap between my 2 front teeth?
Dr. Kim will place porcelain veneers for the same reasons as bonding (to lighten stains, close gaps and even alter crooked or malformed teeth). They are considerably more durable and stain resistant than bonding.
The veneer is actually a thin piece of porcelain similar in size to a fingernail. Once it is "bonded" onto the tooth it becomes extremely strong. Dr. Kim also blends the veneer in with the remaining tooth structure so that it is unnoticeable to the naked-eye. Once in place, it looks, feels, and functions just like a regular tooth.

- Does root canal therapy case dead teeth?
A popular myth....
When the endodontic treatment is complete, the tooth is by no means dead. It receives quite adequate support from the surrounding tissues and may be expected to last as long as any other natural tooth.
- I have too much pigmentaion on my gum and it shows when I smile. I am afraid to smile because people might notice it. Can you do something about it?
Yes, Dr.Kim can simply make your gum numb, and remove the pigmentation. When your gum is numb, you will not feel anything at all, and this procedure takes less than 10minutes. In about a week, you will have beautiful pink gum tissue you have been dreamed of.
- I have a bad breath. I feel that my coworker seem to distant from me when I talk. What can I do?
Dr. Kim has a complete check list that might cause the bad breath and checks them.
